This is a photo of a postcard of City Hall, sent to us by reader Earl Burroughs. It does beg the question of why anyone would want a postcard of city hall, but perhaps all the wastewater treatment plant postcards were sold out. Either way, it’s super authentic because of the wavy postage stamp still visible in ghost form in the background.

Annual Christmas parade preparations ongoing
Possibly the oldest continued Christmas Parade in the state is planned for Saturday, Nov. 22 at 9:30 a.m. on the Concord Heights. The parade will begin formation at 8 a.m. for floats and 8:30 a.m. for all other parade entries.
