Mr. Woodbury Hunt constructed this building to house his successful picture publishing business. When it comes to the Black Ice Pond Hockey Tournament, without good quality ice to play hockey on, you’ve just got a black pond at White Park. Which is why this year’s tournament was nearly postponed from Jan. 24 to 26 until Feb. 7 through 9.
