On Display: New photography exhibit at Audubon McLane Center
Sherie Dowsett is currently showing her nature photography at the Audubon McLane Center through the end of June. Capturing wildlife in its natural surroundings, Dowsett’s work includes many species of birds, a moose and a few squirrels. May 16, 1893: After a sensational trial in the killing of a young woman who jilted him, Frank C. Almy, also known as George Abbott, is executed at the state prison.
