The Concord Public Library spring hours are effective May 2 through June 26. Main branch hours are: Mondays and Tuesdays 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Closed on Sundays. Penacook hours are: Mondays 2:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays 9 a.m. to noon.

Dear Elders, The majority of the music that young people listen to today is awful! The lyrics are either offensive, or just ridiculous. Metal fundraiser
The New Hampshire Association of the Deaf will hold a metal collection fundraiser on April 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 108 Loudon Road. Fishing, family fun and more at Merril Park this Saturday
Youth Fishing Day will be held on April 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Merril Park on Eastman Street. Admission is free. There will be refreshments, fly casting instruction and fly tying demonstrations. Her Face On April 3 around 5:35 p.m., Master Police Officer Robert Buelte and Officer Timothy King were dispatched to a South Main Street apartment for two 911 calls from Cynthia Saxon Hoffman, 46, of Concord.
