Meow that’s what we’re talking about
The 7th annual Himalayan Cat Fanciers’ All Breed Cat Show took over the Grappone Conference Center Feb. 15 and 16. It was a cat lovers’ paradise with close to 60 cats on display. From Maine Coons to Scottish Folds, and Persians to Ragdolls, it was hard to pick a favorite. There was even a Norwegian Forest Cat, and of course, Himalayans. Kittens even had their own pision.
This 100th birthday celebration at the Audubon really takes the cake
The N.H. Audubon celebrated its 100th birthday on Feb. 15, marking the occasion with a bash at the McLane Center. There was a sing-a-long, live bird presentations, arts and crafts and a cake decorating contest.

Charity game helps bring new assistive technology to NHTI
The annual Wheelchair Basketball Benefit for the Zech DeVits Memorial Equipment Fund at NHTI raises money to help provide assistive technology to students with disabilities. DeVits, who was born with gigantism and skeletal dysplasia and required a wheelchair from an early age, died in 2005 at 22 years old, just weeks before graduating from NHTI. Photographer captured some of ‘Life’s’ most important moments
John Shearer spent years photographing some of the most famous moments in United States history. He covered the funerals of President John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, the Attica Prison riots and the “Fight of the Century” between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. Shearer’s work is on display in the Hargate Gallery at the Hargate Art Center at St. Paul’s School through Feb. 15.
