We warned you that last week’s classic Concord photo was going to be a tough one, but even we didn’t know how tough it would be. Turns out, the photo (which we saw at Depot Antique & Toys) was mislabeled – that building isn’t even in Concord! Concord’s Boy Scout Troop 88 recently traveled to Maine’s Acadia National Park and hiked over 50 miles of trails. Of course, they never travel without the Insider. Now that’s what we call being prepared. Thanks a lot, Scouts!

Last week’s classic Concord photo was of the American house, located at the corner of North Main and Park Streets. Reader Earl Burroughs tells us the house was built in only six weeks back in 1834, with workers working ’round the clock – three eight-hour shifts per day. The building burned down in 1867.
