Reader Earl Burroughs sent us this shot of the Masonic Block, which was located at the corner of Pleasant and North Main streets until it burned down in 1962. “Concord decorated well for all parades from the 1800s through 1920,” Burroughs wrote.Have a classic Concord photo for the Insider? A couple of turn-of-the-century Casey Joneses found themselves in a bit of a pickle back in the day. We don’t know much more about this train crash photo, but we’re guessing it’s a shot of the 1910 cattle car crash that killed 13 calves and a cow. This would never happen with the Insider’s Main Street redesign, by the way. That’s the beauty of a monorail – one-way traffic only!
