Three local businesses and a local business leader were honored June 7 at the 13th Annual Pinnacle Awards Luncheon at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord. The sold-out luncheon hosted 250 community, nonprofit and business leaders from the Capital Region who came to celebrate Pinnacle Award recipients nominated by peers and selected by a committee of last year’s winners.
“We enjoy an abundance of civic engagement in the Capital Region. You can never thank people enough for the extraordinary efforts they make to build a first-class community like ours,” Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce President Tim Sink said. “We are better for it.”
Sink joined Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman Philip Hastings Esq. in presenting the Pinnacle Awards to this year’s recipients. The event also recognized 23 recent graduates of Leadership Greater Concord and two categories kept secret until the event – local businesswoman Elyssa Alfieri accepted the Concord Young Professional of the Year and Chamber Ambassador Phil Donovan received the W. Grant McIntosh Volunteer of the Year.
“Hundreds of members contribute so much to the Chamber and our community throughout the year,” Hastings said. “We are truly fortunate to live in a community that is home to so many possible nominees.”
This year’s Pinnacle Award honorees include Warrenstreet Architects Inc., Small Business of the Year; Duprey Hospitality LLC, Business of the Year; Intown Concord, Nonprofit Business of the Year; and Cindy Flanagan of Concord Dance Academy received Business Leader of the Year.
To be considered, each nominee must actively support Chamber initiatives and be an outstanding and engaged member of the greater Concord community.
