The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce’s Concord Young Professionals Network introduces you to our “Young Professionals of the Month,” Kaleigh Greene and Chad Johnson.

Both were recently selected to join CYPN’s Ambassador Program. CYPN ambassadors play an important role at networking events by welcoming and assisting guests, and by helping YPs build relationships in the community.

Kaleigh Greene

How old are you? 25.

Where do you live?  Concord.

Where do you work? Envoy Mortgage in Bedford.

Where did you go to school? I am currently in the process of obtaining my MBA at SNHU.

How did you find out about Concord Young Professionals Network and what’s your favorite CYPN event? I found out about CYPN through the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce and my favorite event so far was CYPN Networking at Gibson’s Bookstore.

Greatest role model? My greatest role model has always been my mother. As a female business owner, who opened her business over 10 years ago, she has always been my rock and guided me with words of wisdom.

Who would you really like to meet? I would love to meet Dean Kamen! His advances in science will transform the state, if not the world.

What is one of your life goals? My overall life goal is to make a positive impact to create a difference in others’ lives.

Tell us a few interesting facts about yourself! I enjoy volunteering my time to several committees and in my spare time I make organic soaps with local ingredients. I enjoy traveling and new experiences, such as zip lining, sky diving, crystal cave tubing, scuba diving and more!

Chad Johnson

How old are you? 35.

Where do you live? Born and raised in Concord.

Where do you work? I’m a college professor at NHTI and a sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Where did you go to school? I went to Rumford Elementary, Rundlett Middle School, Concord High, NHTI, SNHU and now I’m currently working on my master’s at RIT.

How did you find out about Concord Young Professionals Network and what’s your favorite CYPN event? I first heard about CYPN from Heidi Schmidt, the current chair of the Steering Committee. One of my favorite CYPN events was the networking event at Red River Theatres – it was a great location and they were such wonderful hosts.

What organizations are you involved with? I’m an alumni of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society and currently a co-advisor for the Alternative Spring Break Club at NHTI.

What is one of your life goals? I want to learn how to fly someday!

Last book you’ve read? The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life by Mark Manson. I highly recommend it.

Tell us a few interesting facts about yourself! One of my biggest passions is staying active and healthy. I used to be very overweight and a number of years ago I went through a huge transformation and lost more than 100 pounds. It’s important to me to maintain that, and I love trying out new and fun ways to do so. I love hiking and I joined Title Boxing Club in Concord a little over a year ago and absolutely love it; it is the best workout I’ve ever experienced! This past year I also ran my first Tough Mudder and Spartan Race. I’m really hoping to do a few more this year and my goal is to finish the Trifecta for the Spartan Races!
