Become an Intowner and held support more events

We’ve all enjoyed an Intown Concord production.

Whether it’s Market Days (which, if you haven’t realized yet, runs this Thursday through Saturday right in downtown Concord), Midnight Merriment, the Discover Downtown series or Halloween Howl, you must admit the nonprofit organization puts together some pretty impressive events.

And for the most part, thanks to a large group of sponsors and support from local businesses, they don’t ask for much in return – except for you to have a good time.

“We put together a lot of events for the community – for free,” said Kate Fleming, events and outreach coordinator at Intown Concord.

There’s almost never any paid admission to an Intown event, because the whole point is to get the community to come together for a few hours.

But it does cost money to put on these events and there’s been a call to have more of them – which means more opportunities for you and the family.

So Intown Concord would like your help. They recently established the Intowner, which is reserved for people who generously donate some of their hard earn dollars to keep the good times going.

“Getting the community more aware of what we do and what it takes,” Fleming said.

It’s an annual donation (if you choose to do it more than once) of just $25 and it will help Intown grow and expand its list of events.

“It’s just to kick in and be a part of what we do,” Fleming said.
