Is your personal aura all out of whack? Is your energy field misaligned? Or maybe your body’s inner workings are just a little bit out of tune?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you’re in need of some spiritual and energy healing, which will be provided at the Holistic Health/Psychic Fair at the Bektash Shrine Center on Saturday.
This free, one-day-only event, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April Fools Day no less, will feature about 30 exhibitors who will either be performing services or selling products. Admission to the fair is free, but you’ll have to pay for any goods or services you might be interested in.
If you’re wondering what types of services could possibly be offered at an event like this, don’t feel bad – we had no idea what to expect, either.
Luckily, organizer Dawn Drew was able to fill us in on all the details
“There will be massage therapists, energy practitioners . . . various people that have the ability to do some work on people’s energy fields, helping them feel some kind of relaxation, relief,” Drew said.
As for some examples of products that might be sold, Drew said to expect to see things like organic products, jewelry, health products, oil essences, “flower essences that are up and coming for people’s health, elements aside from products on the drug store shelves that are just as effective or more effective,” she said.
Basically, everything you’ll see at this fair will be stuff you couldn’t just walk into Wal-Mart and buy.
But it’s probably the services, not the products, that you’ll be more interested in (though you shouldn’t just ignore the products).
Drew is a holistic health practitioner and a psychic herself, and she has two offices in Concord she practices out of. One of the techniques she uses is tuning fork treatments.
If you ever took a music class in school as a kid, you probably remember these little two-pronged metal forks that you’d whack against something to get the pitch of whatever note that was. In the holistic health field, tuning forks (not musical ones, Drew said) are used to adjust one’s inner energy and reset specific “tunings” in the body.
“Depending on what I’m called to use in any particular situation, somebody might come to my office and I can tell right away that I need to tune them to their earth and their soul star,” Drew said of the tuning fork process.
So in other words, if you have a sneaking suspicion that you’re not tuned to the correct soul star, you’ll want to sit down for a proper tuning fork session.
There will also be other mediums performing other types of readings. Shamans, healers, psychics, medicine drummers and everything in between will be represented, and all will be available to anyone who attends.
As far as pricing goes, it will be up to each exhibitor to charge whatever he or she wants for their goods or services, so bring a little dough. And Drew said she’s decided to donate all of her proceeds – the money she makes off exhibitor fees –to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
“This year I just got this message that I have to donate the money,” Drew said.
Sounds like the kind of psychic vision we can support.
There will also be food and plenty of other activities going on throughout the day, so make sure you check out the event page on Facebook (the link is too long so just search on Facebook for Holistic Health-Psychic Fair) or call 540-7215 for more information.
