The Feztival of Trees is back for a 16th year at the Bektash Shrine Center on Pembroke Road. We went and checked it out, and it’s bigger and better than ever. It’s open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday (closed on Thanksgiving) and 10 to 4 Sunday. Top right: This tree, provided by BJ’s Wholesale Club, is one of the most popular and coveted trees, evidenced by the jumbo tube to hold many, many raffle tickets. Top left: A personal favorite, this “A Christmas Story” tree comes with the coveted Red Ryder BB gun, the famous leg lamp and some pink bunny slippers, among other things. Middle left: The fan-favorite Tool Tree has beefed up this year, featuring a Kobalt chop saw.
