Attention golfers: If you want to play a round at Beaver Meadow Golf Course – at least outside – you better think about making some moves.

It is November and barring any weather developments (you know what we’re talking about), the course will be open until Nov. 20. That’s a little less than three weeks to get in some much needed swings before calling it another season.

And the good news is that for the remainder of the year, you can play for a little discount. A round of 18 with a cart will typically run you $59 during the summer, but now is now only $40. For nine holes and a cart, the price tag is $30, and to walk 18 holes is just $28.

But if you’re busy trying to get all those leaves raked to the curb or mapping out your Christmas decoration display a little early, there’s no reason to fret. Because even though you won’t be able to walk the course in a few weeks, you’ll still be able to pretend.

If you forgot, Beaver Meadow added two state-of-the-art indoor golf simulators last winter that makes you feel like you’re playing at some of the best courses in the world – just without all the travel expenses.

Starting Nov. 10, Beaver Meadow is offering a brand new mini league for those who aren’t quite ready to put the clubs away for the season. It’s a very informal thing, especially since it runs through the holiday season. It’s basically a pick up league that will cost each player $25 weekly, which includes tournament prizes and the fee for playing nine holes with your team of two. Teams can reserve a specific time each week or play at their leisure from week to week.

And it’s all gearing up for the indoor league that begins the first week of January. There is a $40 “green fee” per each two person team each week, along with a $50 Team Entry Fee.

You and your partner can pick the day and time you play – and make it the same day and time all season. Since last year was so popular, the league added Saturdays to the mix, so all you have to do is play your match between Monday and Saturday each week. But you should sign up soon before all the good slots are taken.
