Where do you currently work? I own 8-Bit Retro — soon to be New Hampshire’s first bar and arcade!
Where did you go to school? Washington, D.C. and the United States Marine Corps.
What do you like to do for fun? Hang at home with my husband and two Puggles, Lex and Lea.
Favorite places to be? Double Midnight Comics and Area 23.
Last book you’ve read?The Souls of Black Folk by W.E.B. Du Bois.
How did you find out about CYPN and how has it benefited your business or you personally? I found out about CYPN through the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce when I was looking to network about my start-up business. CYPN has helped me immensely by introducing me to like-minded people who share my passion for success.
Most inspirational person in your life: The most inspirational person in my life is my mother. She raised four kids in D.C. by herself and showed me that even though you may not have a lot of money, with smarts and ingenuity you can achieve anything.
Greatest role model? My grandfather is my greatest role model. He continues to teach me the ways of the world through his life experiences and sage advice.
What’s your favorite restaurant in Concord? Area 23.
What’s your favorite place to go in Concord? Double Midnight Comics.
Favorite movie of all time? Pretty Woman.
What is one of your life goals? To be financially and professionally independent by 30. To be my own boss.
What has been your favorite CYPN event so far? The Mill Brook Gallery & Sculpture Garden was a beautiful event that I enjoyed immensely. The works of art there are beautiful, and I met two of my newest friends that night.
Favorite famous person? Oprah. She showed that where you start off in life doesn’t matter. It’s what you choose to do with the opportunities around you. With hard work, anything is achievable.
If you could visit any country, where would you go? I have already lived in this country, but I would love to go back to Japan.
Where is the best place you’ve visited? Thailand. It is a beautiful country filled with some of the kindest souls I have ever met.
Who would you really like to meet? I would really love to meet actor Jesse Williams and talk with him about social and community activism.
Tell us a few interesting facts about yourself! I lived in Japan for two years, and have visited 20 states. And I am a dog whisperer.
