Mary Stuart Gile

Mary Stuart Gile, a teacher, and state legislator since 1997 legislator, and
volunteer for several organizations such as, United Way and Child and Family Services,
is also co-founder of the Children’s Place and Parent Education Center. She was
nominated by her son, Chris Trider, who says, “If you know Mary, no explanation is
needed. She is an amazing example of someone who is involved in many aspects of the
community. Fascinating Indeed!”
Clara Brogan
Nominated by Paul Brogan – (Featured between 1 and 2 PM)
Clara Brogan was nominated by her son, Paul. He says of his mother, “Clara will
be 93 in a few months and yet remains vital, active and interested in life and is a
wonderful role model for many. For the past 25 years, she has continued to be actively
involved with Concord’s schools as a storyteller, and was recently recognized by the
Concord School Board with their Champion for Children award. She is living proof that
remaining active and tackling new ventures will keep you able and agile.”
Frank Wilner
Nominated by Susan Bruce – (Featured between 3 and 4 PM)
Frank Wilner is known by his many fans as the ultimate master of all things
“Jazz.” Susan Bruce, Station Manager of WNHN in Concord says, “Frank is one of our
most dedicated volunteers, serving on the board of directors, and an integral part of our
fundraising team. As host of WNHN’s weekly program,Voices in Jazz, he has a wealth of
knowledge on the subject. We appreciate Frank’s dedication expertise, and his sense of
humor.”
Ryan Linehan
Nominated by Pamela Lindberg – (Featured between 5 to 6 PM)
Pam Tarbell of Mill Brook Gallery and Sculpture Garden says this about her
nominee, Ryan Linehan: “Ryan may talk with a soft voice, but he is the backbone behind
the Kimball Jenkins School of Art. He wears many hats, and although he has some help
from a very few employees, he is the glue that keeps everything functioning, not an easy
task.”
John “Cimo” Cimikoski
Nominated by Glenn Mathews – (Featured between 6 and 7 PM)
John “Cimo” Cimikoski, a lifelong resident of Concord, is a supporter of many
youth sports programs and charities. He is also known for his dedication to the Concord
Boys and Girls Club, where he gained valuable life experience throughout his youth. His
nominator Glenn Mathews says, “Cimo is a man that just keeps on giving and never asks
for anything in return!”
Rajesh Chuwan
Nominated by Tilak Niroula (Featured between 7 and 8 PM)
Rajesh Chuwan, a former Bhutanese refugee who started his new life in Concord
working full time at Community Bridges, came to the U.S. at the age of 27 in 2009. He
also offers employers with education on refugees and their specific cultures. Tilak
Niroula says of Chuwan, “Rajesh is an employment specialist who was able to place over
150 New Americans into the job market.
