On Sunday, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Concord will join an estimated 30,000 churches nationwide in inviting community members to give church another try at National Back to Church Sunday.
The 10 a.m. service at St. Paul’s Church is specially designed for both regular attendees who have been away for the summer and also, especially, for people who stopped going to church, for whatever reason, some time ago – or perhaps have never really gone.
St. Paul’s offers a welcoming, supportive and non-judgmental community of parishioners who strive to live their faith.
Following the 10 a.m. church service, all are welcome to amble across Park Street to the State House Lawn, where a Back to Church Sunday Celebration is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The festivities will include face painting and a clown to entertain kids of all ages, music, delicious food, ministry exhibits and St. Paul’s Famous Annual Pie Contest.
Back to Church Sunday offers a great opportunity to make new friends and reconnect with old acquaintances.
The St. Paul’s church family welcomes all neighbors to join them on Sunday – and every week.
St. Paul’s offers a place to belong – whoever you are – just as you are.
