At the Insider, we’ve been pretty fortunate to earn a spot on the front cover. Although it’s not as prestigious when you’re the ones deciding what photos make the cut.
But if Jeremy Woodward happens to win Men’s Health’s 2016 Ultimate Guy Search, that’s a little bit more of a big deal. We’re talking about Men’s Health magazine here people.
Almost 1,000 guys from all over the country filled out an application and Woodward, owner of Jeremy’s Bootcamp on Manchester Street, was one of 100 to make the quarterfinals.
Woodward found out last week that he made the top 100 and now he needs your help to advance. Through Aug. 1, you can log on to Men’s Health’s Ultimate Guy Search website each day and cast a vote for Woodward.
“I was very surprised when I got the email,” Woodward said.
Voting counts toward 10 percent of the judging along with criteria that includes being physically fit; living a healthy lifestyle; giving back to his community, family, friends and society; and achieving professional success. It’s safe to say Woodward fits the mold, now he just needs to see some backing in the voting department.
“They’re looking for well-rounded individuals,” Woodward said. “Every day guys who are involved in health.”
The top 10 will be announced on or around Aug. 5. The top vote getters automatically advances to the semifinals. The winner of the contest will be on the cover of Men’s Health’s November issue.
