Bowl Me Over, the latest exhibit at the League of N.H. Craftsmen headquarters, will open for public viewing on Friday.
An opening reception, where the public can meet and speak with participating exhibitors, will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Craft Center, 49 S. Main St.
Bowl Me Over showcases a variety of creative, inspiring and innovative craft. All work is handcrafted by juried members of the League of N.H. Craftsmen – artisans who have met the League’s stringent standards for skill and creativity. You will see finely detailed sailboats on textured water created with clay and wood; intricate birch trees made with fused glass; a segmented wooden urn made with close to 300 pieces of different types of wood; and a “quilt tent” necklace formed with woven beads, crochet and silk; among many other craft in a variety of media.
The exhibit will be on display through Sept. 2.
