Usually we’d be afraid to get this close to a dragon, but this one seemed friendly – and made of paint. He watches over the biggest playground in the city that’s also in arm’s reach of all the legal advice it could ever need,
So you have to go a little off Broadway to find this piece of playground equipment in a park that has the largest pool in the city. We just want to know what you do with this thing. Do you climb up it and then jump down? Can you use it for king of the mountain? How are you supposed to get to the other side? Sounds like an upcoming challenge if you ask us.
This man made spider web looking thing includes plenty of hoops to jump though and reminds us more of a workout machine then a place where children play. But a lot has changed since we grew up and like everything else, playground equipment is getting bigger and better by the day. And this unique apparatus can only be found in the park that calls Hutchins Street home.
Oh, the good ol’ tire swing, making kids nauseous since the dawn of time. They can be found at many city parks, but to locate this one you’ve got to be at the one that’s name is also included in a pretty well known Concord art school.
Unfortunately no one was working at this little store front when we stopped in last week, but it turns out they were on vacation at the school named for a famous Concordian, who just so happens to have a center also named after her.
Think you’ve got what it takes to make it across? Well, you’ll have to head to a little park on a street opposite of east to find it.
It’s a good thing this sign was hanging out at the village park we hit up last week because then we could tell that all the kids running around the place were happy. We didn’t see any balloons, but we’re still pretty sure they were having lots of fun, too.
