Do you love food? How about epic battles between elite chefs?
If you answered yes to either or both of those questions, you’ll be happy to know that GoodLife Programs & Activities will host its second annual Iron Chef Competition on Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Tad’s Place at the Heritage Heights campus, 149 East Side Drive.
The executive chefs from The Birches at Concord (Joe Gerber), Havenwood-Heritage Heights (Jason Seavey) and The Common Man (Dan St. Jean) will showcase their fabulous talent in front of the audience of approximately 170 people by preparing farm-to-table dishes made with local honey, Granite State fresh produce and venison, and each dish will be paired with the chef’s choice of white wine. Are you getting hungry – or thirsty – yet?
All attendees will have the opportunity to sample a wide array of hearty hors d’oeuvres made available for tasting throughout the event, and each ticket purchased includes wine. The event includes a People’s Choice Award, where attendees vote for their favorite chef. The grand prize is based on the final judges’ vote. All proceeds will benefit GoodLife Programs & Activities.
Tickets are $35 and may be purchased by contacting Susan Greenblott at 228-6630. For more information, visit goodlifenh.org.
