Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at ConcordTV?
Us too. But so far we’ve been unable to take a closer look at the glamorous and exciting world of community television. That is until now.
On Tuesday, Sept. 29, Concord TV and Concord Parks and Recreation will hold an open house at the Heights Community Center, 14 Canterbury Road (formerly the Dame School), from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
So it’s kind of like you’re getting a two-for-one deal if you ask us. Did you ask us?
Anyway, you can try some hands-on demos in the TV Studio, learn about production and marketing classes, find out how to become a television producer and check out the youth video camps.
You might even get a few pointers on how to become local TV star.
On the parks and rec side, you can try your hand at pickleball (which is a sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis), hear about fall and winter classes and discover what’s new in senior programs.
There will be free refreshments, raffles, giveaways, face painting, kids crafts and much more.
So it’s a free event, you get to learn new stuff and there’s food. Sounds like you’ve got a pretty nice evening planned for you.
