Here’s a photo of the 1951 St. John’s High School JV basketball team sent to us by reader Jack Fraser, from an era when haircut diversity was apparently not really a thing. Other stuff we dig in this photo: No. 5’s sort of shmedium jersey and the sweet striped shirt No. 8 is rocking under his uniform. The photo may be old, but the means to idenfity everyone were decidedly modern – Fraser, who was the coach of the team, thanked those who are on the “I’m from Concord” Facebook page for helping to identify everybody.
