Concord Hospital has been recognized as one of the nation's most wired small and rural hospitals, according to the results of the 2011 Most Wired Survey released in the July issue of Hospitals & Health Networks magazine. It is the 10th year that Concord Hospital has been recognized by the Most Wired program. The nation's Most Wired hospitals are making progress towards greater health information technology adoption, according to Hospitals & Health Networks' 2011 Most Wired Survey release. As a field, hospitals are focused on expanding and adopting certain kinds of IT, such as computerized physician order entry, to promote improved patient care and data collection.
