Dawnee Broas, chair of the Leadership Steering Committee, invites all alumni of the Leadership Greater Concord program to the annual Richard G. Warner Scholarship Fund Breakfast. The event takes place on March 29 at Concord Hospital, on the 3rd floor in Conference Room A, from 7:45 to 9 a.m. Tickets are $40 each, and include a full breakfast. Gov. John Lynch has been invited as the guest speaker.
Leadership Greater Concord is a 10-month civic leadership program for inpiduals with distinctive leadership potential, designed to enhance knowledge of the area by exposing them to issues, opportunities and problems facing the greater Concord community. The 10-month program runs from September to June each year, and features a series of day-long work sessions focusing on a particular aspect of civic life in Concord, including history and culture, environment and sustainability, economic development, education, communications and the media, government and politics, criminal justice, health and human services, and spirituality.
