Best Buddies New Hampshire will hold a kick-off party on March 16 at the Barley House in Concord. This event is part of an effort to bring a chapter of Best Buddies, a global organization that fosters relationships between people with disabilities and their peers, to New Hampshire.
The Barley House event, which will feature the Ron Noyes Band, begins at 8 p.m. and will have a $3 cover charge.
“Best Buddies is doing tremendous work throughout the world helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities build strong, lasting one-on-one friendships,” said Susan Zimmermann, board co-chair of Best Buddies New Hampshire. “Best Buddies' mission is to bring friends and fun into people's lives, so this party is a perfect way to jump-start our efforts to bring Best Buddies to our state.”
The Barley House fundraiser is just one of the events being held throughout New Hampshire to raise money to open a state-wide chapter. In addition to this event, Best Buddies New Hampshire is also sponsoring the First Annual Friendship Walk in Concord on June 17.
