The Concord Arts Market and Company C are pairing up this spring to combine the best of both for a curated indoor event. Spring Preview at Company C will feature Concord Arts Market favorites as well as new-for-2012 artists and artisans in the cozy, colorful Company C headquarters at 102 Old Turnpike Road. This Spring Preview series debuted March 31 from 10 a.m – 4 p.m., and continues April 28 and May 12 at the same times. Admission is free, and the building is accessible to those with disabilities.
This marks the Concord Arts Market's fifth season of bringing locally and regionally handmade art and craft to New Hampshire's capital city. When Company C approached market founder Katy Solsky with the idea, it seemed the perfect way to warm up for the anniversary season.
Each Spring Preview date features its own theme. The March 31 theme, “For You,” put the focus on fun ways to treat yourself. The April 28 theme, “For Home,” incorporates 2- and 3-D art pieces, and creators of unique architectural details – think mosaics and customized tiles. May 12 preceeds Mothers' Day with the theme “For Mom.” Each date showcases a different preview selection of artisans and artists and more surprises that will confirm as the dates near.
