This week, we've got a very special edition of the retro police log. While searching through the old log books at the police station, we discovered the same complaint over and over again. Between 1942 and 1945, Mrs. Howard Moore (she was never referred to by her full name in the logs) apparently called the police to complain about boys swimming and making noise – every day!
Moore complained that the boys were keeping her husband awake. It seems that Mr. Moore had to work nights and was trying to rest while those boys were cavorting on hot summer afternoons. So, she called at an amazing rate over the course of four years. No doubt Mrs. Moore would have gotten on famously with the Insider's resident curmudgeon, Estelle.
