Concord Handmade, the holiday pop-up shop that has, um, popped up in different spots on Main Street over the last few holiday seasons is back, and in the former Gibson’s Bookstore building (27 S. Main St.) Store owner Alison Murphy has tons of awesome hand-crafted stuff made by artists from all over New England, but a lot of the pieces were created even closer to home. Like, right here. The pictures on these pages are of products made by artists who live in Concord. Not bad, eh?
By the way, if something on these pages strikes your fancy, you best hop on down quickly, because these pieces are made with tender loving care by inpidual artists and aren’t mass produced, so when something’s gone, it’s gone. Your in luck, though – the store is open seven days a week this year, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
