Reserve your spot to meet Tedy Bruschi

Local business owner and advocate for heart health, Jeremy Woodward, is pleased to announce a meet and greet with former New England Patriots linebacker, Tedy Bruschi. The event will take place Monday, March 16 at 6 p.m. Location will be announced soon.

Woodward, owner of Jeremy’s Bootcamp, is running the Boston Marathon as part of Tedy’s Team, a team formed by Bruschi to raise awareness and money for stroke victims and their families. According to the American Stroke Association website, Bruschi suffered a stroke in February 2005 at the age of 31, just weeks after winning his third Super Bowl and days after returning from playing in the Pro Bowl in Hawaii. As he recovered, Bruschi committed himself to being an advocate, spokesperson and inspiration for stroke survivors in our area. Tedy’s Team consists of a group of runners raising money for the American Stroke Association and training to complete the Boston Marathon and the Falmouth Road Race. Their participation supports Tedy Bruschi’s fight against stroke, and honors both the survivors and the loved ones lost to America’s No. 4 leading cause of death.

The meet and greet event is a fundraiser and all proceeds will be directed to the American Stroke Association through Tedy’s Team. Tickets are $20 in advance, $30 at the door. Location and registration information will be available soon but we can tell you that space is limited and tickets will go quickly.
