Watch out good people of Bow ’cause we’re coming to your town

Any town that has a gazebo – complete with bushes and flower boxes – is okay in our book. Gazebos are one of the most versatile pieces of town property there is. It can be used for music, community gatherings and maybe one day it will be home to an “Insider” stand where you can pick up the latest edition.

It’s been just over a year since we ventured outside the city limits for the first and only time, and we’ve been dreaming of the day we could once again step over the border that has kept us captive for nearly eight years.

But since we only cover Concord and the Border Issue was really a one shot deal, we couldn’t justify crossing over those imaginary lines. That is until now.

By this point, you’ve seen the front cover and realized that life in Insider land is forever changed. We understand it comes as a bit of a shock that the decision has been made to expand the coverage area into Bow, but sometimes it’s not a bad thing to shake it up. So why not embrace it?

Just think about how much money this edition will be worth one day. It’s almost guaranteed to be more than you paid for it.

So in the coming weeks you will notice that a few pages of each issue will be dedicated to stuff in Bow, has happened in Bow or will be happening in Bow. Never thought we’d be able to put Bow in a story let alone three times in one sentence.

And more good news is that the Insider will also be distributed to subscribers in Bow as well as places like the Baker Free Library, Chen Yang Li and the Hampton Inn. But that’s not the be all end all. If you want to have the Insider either at your business or organization, all you have to do is ask. Send a quick email to customerservice@cmonitor.com and hopefully a very nice person will respond in a timely fashion.

As for story tips and ideas, we always like and appreciate them, so send an email to news@theconcordinsider.com and let us know about your event, hobby or really anything you think would look good on our pages. You’d be surprised what we print.

But for the time being, sit back and enjoy our first trip to Bow and all it had to offer. And don’t be alarmed if you see us crossing the border; it’s allowed now.
