The Arthritis Foundation is hosting the Concord Jingle Bell Run on Dec. 14 at the Rundlett Middle School located at 144 South St.
Jingle Bell Runs are timed 5K races raising funds for research for a cure while encouraging a great time.
Registration starts at 9 a.m., with the race starting at 10 a.m. After the race, there will be prizes for best costumes and information about arthritis and its related diseases.
The Jingle Bell Run/Walk began in 1984 to raise awareness of the most common cause of disability in the United States, while also raising needed funds for research, health education and government advocacy to improve the lives of people with arthritis.
Arthritis affects 2.7 million adults and 13,000 children in New England. Join other New Englanders to help raise funds to find a cure. This is a great opportunity for members of the community to help support the Arthritis Foundation in their mission to prevent, control and cure the over 100 types of arthritis and related diseases.
