Aliza Cilley, just makin’ history.
Aliza Cilley, a senior at Merrimack Valley High School, had the opportunity to participate in the New Hampshire Band Directors Association Chamber Music Festival on Jan. 4.
This is an invitation-only festival, with students invited following an audition. To be invited, students needed to be one of the top 10 scores in the state in their respective instrument or voice. Aliza was selected for alto voice. Students from around the state participated in the all-day event at Timberlane High School in Plaistow. Aliza is the first MVHS student in recent memory to participate in the festival. Great job Aliza!
