Concord will celebrate the Fourth of July with an evening of fun at Memorial Field.
Activities will begin at 4 p.m., with an American Legion baseball game. At 5 p.m., WJYY will play music live from the bandstand and at 7:30 p.m., the Nevers’ Band will perform.
At dusk (9:15 p.m. or so), the fireworks show will begin. The city is very excited to announce that for the first time in several decades the fireworks will be set off from the Memorial Field Complex itself. This will dramatically increase the visibility of the show for everyone at the park. Rain date is July 5.
