There will be a free 12-week parenting class at the Children’s Place and Parent Education Center that helps parents become more confident about parenting beginning Oct. 1.
The classes will be held each Wednesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at The Children’s Place, 27 Burns Road.
Parenting children ages 2 to 8 years old can be a difficult time for both parents and children, so learn new skills to handle problem behaviors, strengthen family relationships and reduce family stressors, increase your knowledge of child development and gain support and share information and ideas with other parents.
