The Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association is offering a free presentation “What Was, What’s Now, What’s Next?” April 11 at noon at Presidential Oaks, 200 Pleasant St.

Also, the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association is offering Men’s Grief Discussion Groups on April 11 and April 25 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Concord Regional VNA Hospice House. The ongoing drop-in grief discussion groups are designed to help men after a significant loss.

Also in April, the VNA is holding the following Senior Health Clinics in Concord. All Senior Health Clinic services are provided for a suggested donation of $10, however, services are provided regardless of a person’s ability to pay. Services offered include foot care, blood pressure screening, B-12 injections, medication education, and nutritional education. Call 224-4093 or 800-924-8620, ext. 5815, for an appointment.

The VNA will also offer monthly walk-in immunization clinics for children and adults who are uninsured, underserved, and who have no access to these needed services in order to lead a healthy lifestyle.
The next clinic will be April 16 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Immunization Clinics are at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Outreach Center, 21 Centre St. A fee of $10 is requested per person. The VNA will also hold a free monthly walk-in blood pressure clinic April 5 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the West Street Ward House, 41 West St. Blood pressure screenings are a good way for inpiduals to track their blood pressure for upcoming visits to their physician.
