White Mountain Photography will be showing a limited edition series of images on canvas at the Jill C. Wilson Gallery, Kimball Jenkins Estate, through the month of June. An artist’s reception will be held June 13 at 5 p.m.
For the very first time, owner Dana Clemons is releasing a limited edition canvas series. He will be offering a maximum of 200 canvas productions of select images. These images are presently open editions for photographic prints, but are being offered on canvas exclusively for this limited edition. These pieces will be available only at art shows. All images were created shooting slide film, then scanned, and printed. There are no color filters used, or color “painted in,” and only rarely a polarizing filter used.
An award-winning photographer, Clemons has been photographing stunning landscapes for more than 30 years, with a catalogue of more than 1,000 images. Also a League of New Hampshire Craftsman member, his fine art is displayed and for sale at over a dozen galleries and shops in New England, with his main gallery located in Jackson Village. His concentration is focused on the scenic landscapes of the White Mountains and New England. But he also incorporates abstracts and travel photography from around the world, in places such as New Zealand, Iceland, Scotland, Switzerland and British Columbia, Canada.
