History buff Earl Burroughs sent us this photo of Ike when he came to Concord when running for president. That would be Dwight D. Eisenhower, of course, who served as our 34th president from 1953 until 1961. Concord residents were no doubt impressed by Ike's ability to stand up in a moving vehicle. We're impressed by his driver's taste in hats.
