A couple of weeks ago, we sent you on a photo scavenger hunt of Storrs Street. Several readers took advantage of the warm weather and entered themselves into the contest to win a $20 gift certificate to any Concord business.
The winner, drawn at random, is Jim Thomas. Congratulations!
Kudos are due to Kenneth Eddins, Melissa Johnson, Fred Graf, Greta Puc and Page Cannon for their sleuthing skills.
Wondering where some of our photo clues were? Wonder no more – we've got the answer key right here. Numbered photos can be found in the March 9 edition of the Insider.
1. Fire panel at the vehicle entrance to the parking garage.
2. Base of a lamp post, near the Lighting Place. (We apologize that this image didn't appear as black as the actual lamp post. We'll adjust the photo better next time!)
3. Bottles in the window of the Concord Antique Gallery. (We are grateful no one purchased these, but then again, that's also why we never make you find all of the items in the scavenger hunt. It's really insurance in case we screw up.)
4. “Agriculture” is painted on the building that houses Shaheen and Gordon and Reprographics.
5. Sign posted on a door in a parking lot reserved for General Services.
6. String of lights that decorates the smoking area at Cheers.
7. Sign for Fisherman's Finest Seafood.
8. On the side of the Eagle Copy Center.
9. There were several correct answers for this one – the horse is part of the logo for the American Cowboy Supply store and appears on three signs at the shop.
