Are you interested in a career in natural resources? Do you like hiking, camping and canoeing? If that sounds like you, apply for the New Hampshire Natural Leaders Program – a high school leadership development program designed to inspire emerging environmental and community leaders through outdoor recreational and educational experiences.
The program begins with an orientation on June 19 and a summer camp experience from Aug. 6 -15, where participants get a chance to work with professionals while exploring some of the state's landscapes. Activities will be led by the Appalachian Mountain Club Teen Wilderness Leaders, New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, N.H. Lakes Association, UNH Cooperative Extension and the N.H Student Conservation Association.
