Soles4Souls and Green Concord will be collecting gently worn footwear and/or monetary donations to ship shoes to people in need, whether they are victims of a natural disaster or subject to living in extreme poverty. It is estimated that Americans have 1.5 billion pairs of unused shoes lying in their closets.
The following Green Concord businesses will have donation boxes during August: Real Green Goods; Lotions n’ Potions; Your Home, Your World; S & W Sports; The Works; GES Solar; Gondwana & Divine Clothing; Café Indigo; Concord Cooperative Market; Company C; Grappone Auto (5 locations) and Merrimack County Savings Bank (7 locations).
