The New Hampshire Master Gardener Association and UNH Cooperative Extension presents Welcome Spring '11. This full-day gardening symposium will be held on March 19 at the Grappone Center, 70 Constitution Ave. The symposium, entitled Begin with the Basics, Finish with a Flourish will provide attendees with the opportunity to select three workshops from a menu of nine presentations that will be given throughout the day by expert presenters.
The keynote speaker will be Gordon Hayward, a nationally recognized garden designer, lecturer and writer for Horticulture Magazine and contributing editor at Fine Gardening and Organic Gardening magazines. Registration is $65 for non-NHMGA members and $55 for members and includes a continental breakfast, sandwich buffet luncheon and access to the NHMGA's very popular silent auction tables. A variety of vendors will be on site offering free information and garden-related items for sale.
