Book Discussion: “The Help.” April 9 at 1 p.m. in the Library Auditorium. Scholar Suzanne Browne will lead a book discussion of the bestselling book, “The Help,” set in Mississippi in 1965.
The Rakes of Milford: Traditional Musicians. April 11 at 7 p.m. in the Library Auditorium. The Rakes of Milford, a group of traditional musicians, will perform a selection of Celtic, French-Canadian and American Old-Timey tunes.
CPL Friends Public Coffee. April 13 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Our annual Public Coffee, hosted by the Concord Public Library Friends.
After School Lego Club. April 14 at 3:30 p.m. in the Library Auditorium. The Lego Club gives Lego fans a chance to create with other builders. Designed for grades K-8. Registration is not required.
Friends of the Penacook Branch Library book sale. April 16 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Penacook Branch, 3 Merrimack St. The Friends of the Penacook Branch Library will hold a book sale. Note – no new book donations will be accepted at this time.
Robert Rivest, Comedic Mime – A to Z Literacy. April 16 at 1 p.m. in the Library Auditorium. Comic mime Robert Rivest will be here to entertain families! His program, A to Z Literacy, is a super silly celebration of reading, reminding everyone how important, fun and entertaining it is to read.
