If there's one thing we love about our website, it's anonymous comments, especially mean ones.
Okay – you got us – that's actually our least favorite part, which explains why this response to our Insider's Guide article on 10 things to do after 5 p.m. got us so riled up. The subject was “how awful.”
I bet it was hard coming up with 10 semi-interesting things to do after 5 p.m. in Concord. It's called the “city in a coma” for a reason. This list is pathetically sad, and even the writers know it. You can't put lipstick on a pig. Likewise, no amount of labored enthusiasm will ever truly make any of these activities interesting.
Apart from the joy of seeing the phrase “lipstick on a pig” again, we didn't appreciate the suggestion that Concord is a frumpy, boring city in the middle of nowhere. Au contraire, anonymous commenting meanie.
