Brown bag it and head to the Pierce Manse

The Political Library and the Pierce Brigade present a lunchtime performance by the Concord Community Music School String Quartet on May 28 at 12:30 p.m. at the Pierce Manse, 14 Horseshoe Pond Lane. This program is part of a year-long series focused on New Hampshire culture and history hosted at the Pierce Manse. Attendees are invited to bring a bag lunch and enjoy coffee and dessert after the lecture. This program is free.

Under the direction of Rodger Ellsworth on violin, the string quartet will perform works by Handel, Haydn and Mozart, including Handel's Water Music, Haydn's quartet in G Major, and Mozart's “Dissonance” quartet. Other members of the quartet include Laurel Gagnon on violin, Reagan McNameeKing on viola and Mairead McNameeKing on cello.
