Each month, we quiz young people who attend the Concord Young Professionals Network meetings, an organization affiliated with the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce. The group is a chance for folks in their 20s and 30s to connect with people their age. There’s more of you out there than you think!
This year, CYPN is turning 3. To celebrate, a black and white themed anniversary cocktail party will be held at the Grappone Conference Center on Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. WJYY’s Nazzy will host the event. The cost to attend is $10, $20 after Nov. 2 and at the door. Admission includes appetizers, music, dancing and a cash bar.
The next networking meeting will be held on Oct. 21 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Orr & Reno, 1 Eagle Square. Appetizers and a cash bar will be provided by Alan’s of Boscawen. Admission is free, but preregistration is required.

The retirees who have been meeting at the Modern Pharmacy in McKee Square for coffee. They have been meeting there since the opening of the pharmacy in about 1962 when there used to be a soda fountain, which is now long gone, but the few that are still around still meet for coffee – kinda cool, huh?
