We can’t believe we’re 3 already! It seems like just yesterday we were planning our second birthday. (Remember? We dressed up in Western garb for a group photo – it was awesome! And completely random!)
Normally we touch base with stars of Insider articles from the past year, but this time around, we decided to shake things up a bit. We called our best bud, NHTI, and asked if we could hand out cake at the student center. The cake would be free, we said, if the students were willing to tell us their favorite three things about Concord and let us take their picture. To sweeten the deal even more, we purchased age-appropriate (our age, not theirs) Care Bear party hats and noise makers.
It didn’t take long to get rid of a 1/4 sheet cake. Actually, it probably took longer to scrape frosting off the table NHTI so nicely lent us than to hand cake out to students. Seriously, it sticks like glue. Totally worth it, though, because we made some friends and got some great photos of people hamming it up.
Thanks for celebrating our birthday with us, NHTI, and thanks to you, readers, for your support. Where would we be without you? No where good, that’s for sure. (Insert LeAnn Rimes signing, “I need you like water, like breath, like rain,” here.)
Without further ago, NHTI students and their three favorite things about Concord . . .
