Equinox Farms, 791 Jewett Road, Hopkinton, is hosting the “2009 Holiday Alpaca Showcase” in partnership with Someday Farm Alpacas.
This is our first open farm event, and we are really trying to make it special. We will be providing general farm tours and sharing information about alpacas, the business of raising alpacas and the advantages of alpaca fiber.
Our new farm store will be fully stocked with alpaca fiber, yarn and garments. We will also be featuring spinning and weaving demonstrations, along with a fiber arts exhibition featuring the work of Hopkinton artisan Annie Frye. There will be crafts for kids, so please bring them along! Light refreshments will be served. Admission is free.
