Berkshire Brewery, out of Massachusetts, just put out its Oktoberfest lager. It was brewed using traditional German hops and yeast – you might feel the urge to drink it out of a glass boot!
Woodstock Inn Brewery’s fall offering is its Autumn Ale Brew. Don’t be fooled by the label – this is no cider, but rather an apple-cinnamon beer. Sweet!
Of course, we have to get a pumpkin beer in the mix. New England brewery Dogfish Head offers up its Punkin Ale, a brown-sugar infused brew that’s positively pumpkininny! Also, check out their Indian Brown Ale, a hoppy, malty concoction only recently available in New Hampshire.
Squam Brewing is a one-man operation out of Holderness. The Camp barleywine ale is a unique drink for fall, with hints of apple and mulled spices.
Hard cider is always nice this time of year. Pup’s Monadnock Harvest Hard Cider is brewed in Greenfield using a blend of New Hampshire-grown apples.
