Champ (not its real name, but looks like a Champ) takes in all the sights, sounds and smells in one of the church’s pews.

Every year on the first weekend in October, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church holds a Blessing of the Animals event for its members. More than 70 animals, mostly dogs and a few stuffed, were blessed over three services at the church this year in honor of St. Francis of Assisi.
