John Shearer spent years photographing some of the most famous moments in United States history. He covered the funerals of President John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, the Attica Prison riots and the “Fight of the Century” between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. Shearer’s work is on display in the Hargate Gallery at the Hargate Art Center at St. Paul’s School through Feb. 15.
